Anne Barr

Owner/Pharmacist

Anne earned her pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 1980. After graduating, she began working in community retail pharmacies. After years of working in the pharmacy industry, she decided to open her own store in 2001. Anne enjoys every part of her job. She likes interacting with people and helping them get answers to their health care needs. Anne is married to David Barr (owner of Barr Construction). She has two grown children, Amanda and Eric. Anne and David love to camp, hike and backpack. Ask her about her latest adventure!

Jenni Schopfer

Pharmacy Tech./Ins. and Medicare Specialist

Jenni began working for Anne in April 2015. She is married to Wes and they are raising two boys. The boys are 10 years and 10 days apart in age. After 10 years, each stage of childhood is a brand new experience for them. Jenni does insurance and Medicare billing for the pharmacy. She keeps us in compliance with Medicare Accreditation requirements. In addition to that, she has pharmacy technician duties. Jenni is busy whether she is at work or at home. Jenni takes a float trip in South Missouri each July. Ask her about her latest float.

Amanda Hillyard

Pharmacy Technician

Amanda began working for Anne in 2009 as a Pharmacy Technician. She works full time while also raising a daughter and attending Missouri Western State University. Amanda is pursuing a degree in Population Health Management with a concentration in Human Health. She expects to graduate in May 2018. Amanda is married to Kyle and they have a daughter, Alivia who was born November 13, 2013. Amanda previously worked at LaVerna Village. She was a Certified Medication Technician and a Certified Nurses Aid. Amanda brings professionalism, friendliness and good service to Countryside Pharmacy. Lexi Riggs

Pharmacy Technician

Lexi started at Countryside in August of 2019. She is currently a senior at Savannah High School and works part-time while taking virtual classes (thanks to Covid 19). Lexi plans to attend MWSU to study pre-pharmacy. She enjoys her working in the pharmacy so much she wants to become a pharmacist. Lexi says she enjoys constantly learning new things at work. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, friends as well as her cats! Ask Lexi how her online classes are going.
